FLOX ART AUCTION

IN SUPPORT OF THE RAUKATAURI MUSIC THERAPY CENTRE

LIVE NOW & CLOSING SUN 17 APRIL 6:00PM

An initiative of the Titirangi Festival 2016, has been to invite an artist to collaborate on the Festival design as well as gift an artwork for our charity auction.

We’re thrilled to have worked this year with Flox.

A graffiti artist with a fine art degree, Flox first made her mark in New Zealand and abroad for her trademark native birds, ferns and flowers magically transforming walls into vibrant depictions of the natural world.

Flox has generously gifted her beautiful limited edition work Kereru, Titirangi’s native bush is home to many native birds such as fantail, tui, kererū,or “wood pigeon” and morepork.  She calls paper works such as Kererū, her “catalogue” pieces. All on paper, they encompass a range of mediums including hand-painted originals, screen prints and digitals.

This year we’ve chosen to help support the Raukatauri Music Therapy Centre, because we admire their work and understand how valuable music therapy is in peoples lives.   The Centre will receive all proceeds from the auction of Kererū, - so show you support and place your bid now!

Visit our Facebook Auction page to place you bid!  The work is shown in a frame, but the auction item is the print only - unframed.

This year, the Titirangi Festival also invited Flox to collaborate on the Festival, by contributing a work to be integrated into the design.  Resulting in the beautiful Tui’s you’ll see proudly framing our posters, website and brochure.

Thanks so much Flox!  We love your work.
