Founded in 2005 the ‘Titirangi Festival of Music’ (TFM) grew from small beginnings, to building a reputation as a unique and vibrant community event. The Festival has attracted the participation of some of West Auckland’s and New Zealand’s finest musicians; artists such as the Phoenix Foundation, Nathan Haines, Dave Dobbyn and Sola Rosa to name but a few. The festival’s core objective has been to draw talent from the community, and it has been phenomenally successful in achieving this.
Now simply entitled the ‘Titirangi Festival’, it has a core central space in front of the Titirangi War Memorial Hall. As always the central programme element is Music, as it is a powerful way of bringing people together. However, the Festival also looks beyond music with exhibitions, workshops, an Art trail and in-depth discussion. All with an emphasis on how creativity connects us all.
We would love you to join us either as a volunteer, audience member, or financially, as we work towards a long term, sustainable community event.
